Skiing

This upcoming weekend, I am going to Lake Tahoe to go skiing. I haven't been skiing since I was 5! I am kinda scared, but I am also really excited! We are staying at my Aunt's cabin which within walking distance of the slopes! I can't wait! Fortunately, I didn't have to buy any clothes because I can just use my sisters hand-me-downs! I guess you can say I am still a beginner at skiing, so does anyone have some tips for me? Well, I gotta head out! TTYL!

Honeydew Roadtrip

This past weekend I went on a road trip... well kind of. My dad found this place called Honeydew, what he though was a really cute area. Well let me tell you tell you the cabin we stayed in was not worth the 6 hour drive.

As soon as we got there I knew this wasn't going to end well. The Cabin was so small it looked like the size of me sister's bedroom plus a bathroom. Also there was a barbecue that was broken, really dirty, and unusable. Unfortunately for us, all of the food we brought was to cook on the barbecue! So we only had enough food for one day and were supposed to stay for 3.

Now to the rest of the cabin. The cabin was dirty, stinky, and creepy. There was food on the silver ware, creaking doors and a lot of bugs. A few houses down lived a mom and her 2 girls, they live there year round and I don't know how they do it.

My sister had this crazy idea of making a scary horror movie since it looked like we were in one! There was even a car hanging from a tree! It was sooooooooooo scary!

So we stayed in Honeydew 1 night and Garberville the next. We stayed at a Best Western and boy was I glad!

Along the way to Garberville we went to the Eel River. It was so fun! Copper loved it and so did I! After Garberville we went to to Eureka. We stopped at a really nice beach there along the coast.

And finally we headed back home and well here I am! Back from my long journey. :)

Were To Go???

Hi everyone! I have a quick question. I really wanna go backpacking soon and I don't know were to go, I was wondering if you knew a good place for me to go??? I like a place that's warm, has water, is not to far and has fun hiking routes. Please let me know if you know any place good...

Hiking At Grant Ranch

Today, I went on a hike at Grant Ranch. It was a little hard but over all I think it was awesome.
I went with my Mom, Dad, my friend Kobe, Kobe's Mom, His Dad and of course, Copper.;)
One thing that I didn't like was that my ankle was killing me! It's been hurting since yesterday, but during yesterday it didn't hurt as much as it does today. I think I might of sprained it but I'm not sure.
One thing I did like though was that we got to see 16 hawks or vultures. (We couldn't tell) Kobe and I both figured out that they were definitively eating something. Most likely a large animal because there was so many of the them. We saw something that looked like a rock but it had a lot of red spots so I'm guessing it was a dead animal.

Hiking Grant Ranch was really fun, and I think you should try it.
